Adele - "Massive Racist"?

Gormless Tottenham thug, Adele, 19 (famously), has come up with a great idea for tackling the pressing issue of girls not identifying with girl groups. The cracking scheme is to form a group made up entirely of BRIT School students.

Amy Winehouse, Katie Melua, Lily Allen and Kate Nash were named as the proposed partners in crime. And it makes sense when you think about it; what better way to start a 'band' than by selecting five young posh successful female singers? I don't predict any riots. In fact, the unique combination of crap accents, bad dresses, dire lyrics, massive egos, drug-addictions, mental health problems, massive egos and drug addictions would make for a winning formula, not to mention a bunch of great role models for young supple girls.

"We're not afraid to speak our mind... it would be the best band ever," said Adele.

The chart-topping big-thing-of-last-week is yet to respond to claims by my pet rat, Demetrius, that her glaring omission of another massively-successful contemporary BRIT School singer makes her a "massive racist". Nor have the actual sources of these quotations made themselves known to me by any instant messaging service. Being a hard news journo is tough.

In fact, semi-Caribbean, is-she-from-Hackney?-Hmmm-probably-Islington, X-Factor stunner, Leona Lewis, has yet to respond to being left out of this elite selection. Famous for the number one menstruation-themed smash hit 'I keep bleeding, love', Leona is possibly even more famous for being Katie "The Grey Blur" Melua's classmate at The BRIT School.

"You don't need to be a doll with tanned legs, blonde hair, big boobs and good lips," said Adele of her recruitment policy. Presumably the "but you must - I repeat, must - be white" was silent.

What do you reckon? Is Adele a massive racist? More importantly, do you think the proposed Brit School super-group is a good idea?

Yes.

No.
