Playlouder - Music is the Network

I'm Head of Customer Relations for Playlouder MSP, but I've been a programmer and designer here at Playlouder for 5 years now. I grew up in Perry County, Pennsylvania (yeehaw, etc) but lived in Brighton for a while and moved to London in 2002.

In my real life I live on a Dutch barge in the middle of the Thames that used to be a hotel for canoeing holidays in eastern Holland. My boyfriend and I are slowly turning it into a real home, but it's a slow process.

And in my spare time, I love to sew and create new garments. I've got an old sewing machine that's built like a tank, and I'm completely addicted to Burda World of Fashion Magazine and KnipMode (even though I can't read Dutch!)

If you've just joined and you're seeing me under your "People I'm stalking" list, it's probably because I've invited you. Stalking is a great way to customise your view of Playlouder so you can easily see the writing and music of people you've chosen to stalk. Or you can stalk a location if you want to see upcoming events there, or stalk your favourite band if you want to know when someone writes about them, or an event is added, or we add new music from them.

You can also add music you like to your stash over on the left to listen to and keep for later. If you sign up to Playlouder broadband, you'll be able to download the contents of your stash in free (and legal) mp3 format for no extra cost. You pay £18 per month for your broadband, no matter how much you download from us or via your P2P programme of choice - if it's listed on the website it's all covered and it's all legal.
